A young female samurai from the east. She left her home on a secret mission to find her older brother, who she reveres more than anyone in the world. She doesn't rate her skills compared to her brother, but the truth is she's an expert with a blade. Her underestimation of her own skill sometimes gets her into trouble.
Review
Akane is an excellent and easy to use fire-elemental damage dealer known for her overwhelming speed and damage output, making her a fantastic unit to use in AF.
Drawbacks
· With surprisingly low END/SPR, she often needs defensive support to keep herself alive.
· Her unusually high SPD makes it easy for her to outspeed even the speediest healer, which can be inconvenient to backrow low health.
· She is very selfish, as she neither offers any debuffs to the enemy nor buffs to other units.
Useful for
Akane is mainly a fire damage dealer powerhouse for anything that does not resist fire/slash, strong enough to fit nicely in any team, especially with her ability to buff herself.
· Building and sustaining the AF gauge
· Stunning horrors and enemies to mitigate damage
Futureproof
Akane’s outstanding damage output is welcome in any present and future content that doesn’t resist fire/slash, making her one of the top fire/slash damage dealers.

A great VC that increase Akane’s damage output outside and during AF. Since it lasts for 3 turns, it is recommended to use after she has at least two Yaksha Heart, so in that three turns she can build up to three stacks and cast Anatman before you AF.

This is a great self-buff that increases her damage output. Due to its short duration, it is preferably used before an AF. The fire type attacks up also stacks well with her VC power up, giving her a great boost in AF.
Divine Circle Slash

This is Akane’s main damage dealing move--with just one Yaksha Heart, it outperforms an XL single target multiplier, and at max stacks it will hit hard. Her XL AoE at three stacks is also good for killing any adds spawn by a boss. The multihit nature of the move and her high SPD makes her an excellent unit for building and sustaining the AF gauge.
With the castle town as a backdrop, Akane and Aldo reminisce about all the things that have happened to them. As they do, someone brings them a letter.
