An elegant woman who comes from the East. Her ears and tail have become living beings after being possessed by spirits. When she uses the power of those spirits, nine tails appear from the fires of the spirits. The white tail has the finest texture, but only those who she really likes can touch it. She manages a hole-in-the-wall tavern for the time being, but she seems to be searching for something.
Hozuki is a fire-elemental attacker/support unit with many offensive debuffs, recognisable for her unique attacking move that scales based on the number of types of debuffs on the enemy.
· Requires setup and many types of debuffs to optimize her damage potential
· Low SPD, making her debuffs less effective because she is more likely to move last. To counter this, the debuffing skill is used the turn before you want it active.
Hozuki may be used alongside other units with debuffs to optimise your turns, and her damage and offensive/defensive supports make her good to bring against most bosses. There is likely no need to craft a team around her since most other units usually have an offensive/defensive debuff to put on bosses anyway.
· Increasing offensive potential and survivability with debuffs.
Hozuki still remains a good damage dealer if you lack fire units. However, her SPD ist left to be desired in AF and her 15% debuffs also fall off in the future due to how small they are.
Yoko, let's go!
Piercing resistance of all enemies -20% (1 turn)
Time to turn up the heat.
Piercing resistance of all enemies -25% (1 turn)
Earnings need a boost.
Piercing resistance of all enemies -30% (1 turn)
A great VC to increase Hozuki’s damage potential, and other piercing type attacks. However, due to how specific it is, you will likely not use it unless you are using a piercing team.
St. Elmo's Fire
Fire type piercing attack on a single enemy (S) and Fire type resistance -15% (3 turns)
Piercing attack on all enemies (S)
Speed of user -20% (3 turns) and Power of all enemies -15% and Intelligence -15% (3 turns)
Since Hozuki’s SPD is already very low, the self SPD debuff doesn’t put her at a significant disadvantage. With 100% land rate, it puts two defensive debuffs for a damage bonus to her subsequent Hundred Fire Revolt.
Fire type piercing attack on all enemies (M)
Piercing attack on a single enemy (L) and Physical resistance -15% (3 turns)
Once again, this skill increases physical damage output of your team.
St. Elmo's Blaze
Fire type piercing attack on a single enemy (L) and Fire type resistance -20% (3 turns)
Hundred Fire Revolt
Fire type piercing attack on a single enemy (XL), Increased damage according to number of debuffs on the enemy and Fire type piercing attack on all enemies (M)
This two-hit skill has a high damage multiplier and can easily reap benefits from the debuffs from other units that are normally cast on the boss. However, it is hard to set this up for maximum damage with 5 debuff types (debuffs on PWR, INT, SPD, physical and type resistance), and its long animation also causes it to be poor to use in AF due to the delay in attack.
Fox Fire Flash
Fire type piercing attack on a single enemy (XL) and Fire type resistance -25% (3 turns)
This skill greatly increases fire damage output of your team.
