It seems he is aiming to become the "World's strongest woodcutter", but because trees are treasured in the future he is chased away by the EGPD whenever he attempts to cut down a tree. Thanks to authorities, the source of his worries is that he is a woodcutter who has never cut down a tree.
Review
Philo is a water-elemental damage support/attacker with resourceful skill set to boost party damage and survivability.
Drawbacks
· With a high cost MP skill set, he requires careful MP management in longer battles.
· There’s a small number of Ax damage users, so his resourcefulness is somewhat limited to gacha results.
Useful for
Philo is primarily used to increase party physical damage output, especially when there are additional ax users in the party. You will likely have to choose between using him for water or axe teams, since there is little chance you will equip both Fruits of Desire and Fontaine.
· Increasing physical and ax/water party damage output
· Mob clearing, albeit expensive
· Reducing incoming damage from elemental attacks and magic-based attacks.
Futureproof
Philo is a versatile support for any physical team setup, especially one with more Ax users. The rare uses of Ax users mono team and better future options for critical rate buffer make him a less ideal damage support choice for future content.
