One of the wealthiest of the ocean-dwelling mice, she is highly sought after by collectors for her special assortment of rare and beautiful pearls. Her body is adorned with permanent jewelry made from the pearls she collects. Some question whether she found these pearls or produced them from her very skin!

She usually keeps a huge spare pearl or two around to tempt those that try to come for her to take it instead!

Thoughtful thieves to the last, Pebble Mice have the innate ability to determine the weight of things. They spend most of their time on the vast mountainside, looking for pebbles of just the right size, shape, and weight. When they encounter a trap, they very carefully use these pebbles to replace the cheese, which fools the trap into thinking that the cheese is still there. Obviously, this tactic garners mixed results, depending on the sophistication of the trap.

This imposing, ill-tempered fellow plays a small instrument with a big attitude. He is not exactly the friendliest member of the orchestra so it's best to keep your distance and whatever you do, don't call it a "baby flute"!

The prettiest pirate ever to plunder the palace! If you look up "Plunder" in the Pirate's Code book you'll find a picture of Peggy! No other pirate has ever been as clever, crafty, or nearly as successful!

Peggy has worked long and hard to earn her place amongst the greatest pirates ever to sail the skies. You might even say it cost her an arm and two legs!

When Penguin mice decided to get up a spiffy costume and imitate their favorite winter bird, they didn't count on a few of the limitations inherent in their disguise. They were looking forward to sliding down icy slopes, using only their tummies as a sled, and swimming through icy water. Unfortunately, rubberized canvas and cotton batting don't take to these activities as readily as one would hope, resulting in many a sliced-up suit.

The most dangerous member of court is the one with the most to lose and thus no one with any good sense would dare tangle with the heir to the throne. The famed Pernicious Prince is known equally for his calculated cunning as well as his formidable prowess in battle. Don't let his bedroom eyes deceive you, his blood is the coldest shade of blue and the only thing on his mind is securing his place on the throne at any cost.

Although they are skilled jousters, Phalanx mice prefer to live by the old idiom: ‘Better safe than sorry’. Covered in a suit of armor that weighs more than they do, they can often spring a trap just by stomping on the ground nearby. One of their favorite strategies when confronting a particularly stubborn trap is to curl up under their shield and let the arm of the trap bend around it, before grabbing the cheese with their lance.

Cyborg mice whose cybernetics outlive their living bodies. Puppeteered by their mechanical augments to continue seeking out the rift mist that they draw power from.

Say Cheese! This ambitious mouse is never without his camera equipment. He is not so different from hunters, in that he also tries to capture every mouse in Gnawnia; except on film!

Some hunters who catch this mouse marvel at the photographs he sometimes has with him. Although too small to make out, hunters appreciate the opportunity just to see what the world is like through the eyes of a mouse!

Truly, this is Gnawnian photography at its finest!
