Lunar New Year 2017 Event Guide January 27, 2017 \| Guide Happy Lunar New Year 2017! It is the Year of the Rooster! *BAWK* Time to celebrate it with this Mousehunt event. Thanks Hitgrab guys!! In this event, there are 2 main things that you might want to do: 1. Capture Costumed Rooster Mouse The main idea of this is already listed in the Adventure section in your Mousehunt game screen. Basically, we need to capture all past Costumed Mice in the Lunar Stockpiles area. The Costumed mice are: Costumed Tiger Mouse Costumed Rabbit Mouse Costumed Dragon Mouse Costumed Snake Mouse Costumed Horse Mouse Costumed Sheep Mouse Costumed Monkey Mouse These mice can only be captured using Dumpling Cheese only or any other cheese will suffice. The cheese and the costumed mice are all available in the Lunar Stockpiles area: Town of Gnawnia Great Gnarled Tree Dojo King's Gauntlet Claw Shot City Muridae Market Gnawnia Rift Fungal Cavern After catching all those mice, we can then catch our target, the Costumed Rooster Mouse 2. Collect Rooster Jade Base By capturing the Costumed Rooster Mouse, we will obtain the Rooster Lunar Lantern which is the first requirement to get the Rooster Jade Base. The second requirement is to simply collect and light 10 Lunar Lantern Candle Light up your Lunar Lantern! The various Lunar New Year mice drop Lunar Lantern Candle that you can use to illuminate your Rooster Lunar Lantern. While your lantern is lit, you'll use one candle with each hunt you take, but you'll also DOUBLE most loot dropped by mice you capture. Every 10 hunts you take with your lantern lit will also add a +1 Luck bonus to the lantern that will be active while the lantern is lit. You can earn up to +50 Luck! The Lantern's loot-doubling and bonus luck effects work ANYWHERE in the Kingdom! Lantern Loot Doubling While the lantern is lit, you'll find double loot for most items dropped by mice. The magic of the lantern works for most loot drops, however, there are a few drops not affected by your lantern. Items Not Doubled by Lunar Lantern: Dumpling Cheese Lunar Lantern Candles Treasure Map Clues Map Pieces A mouse's standard gold or points Items added directly to hunters' inventories from bases, charms, auras, etc. Certain items with maximum inventory quantity restrictions Apart from the main task, you might also want to get the Rooster Archmagus Trap Skin which costs $3.00 in the Donate section. The event runs until Tuesday, February 7 2017.
