After his unceremonious fall from grace from the Castle in the Clouds above the Bountiful Beanstalk, the Mythweaver once again eluded capture by writing a version of himself into another classic Gnawnian folktale: The Tale of the Sorcerer's Apprentice.

This time his plan was to take over where the previous Master Sorcerer had failed by training an army of his own magical minions in the ways of sorcery so that he could successfully defeat the willful apprentice. He wrote himself in as the headmaster of the School of Sorcery and set to work at instilling his insidious instructions.

It is now up to the brave MouseHunters of Gnawnia to take over the role of the young apprentice and learn to become a powerful master sorcerer so that they can put a stop to the malevolent Mythweaver and the school's latest corrupt cohort of cursed conjurers!

This mouse can't help itself from getting into trouble and therefore often spends most of its time in detention. Unfortunately, at the School of Sorcery, detention duties tend to be a bit more hazardous than just writing phrases on a chalkboard.

This whimsical wizard-in-training has focussed her studies on the science of swirling sparks and troublesome trickery. She has even learned the remarkable ability to make her bad grades disappear!

This profound professor's extraordinarily powerful Shadow magic is fuelled by quantum fluctuations so minute that he had to invent his own tools to measure them. Upon realizing the potential of these bizarre, magical principles of physics, he discovered that as long as he doesn't measure himself, he can exist in a quantum superposition and therefore be in multiple places at once! This incredible revelation has tripled his productively so now he can be teaching classes, grading papers, and snoozing in the staff lounge all at the same time!

This exhausted enchantress has been cramming for the Final Exam for so long that sleep is but a distant memory for her now. She has read every Arcane Arts textbook ever published three times over and in the process, has consumed more coffee than the entire faculty combined. Her eyes are bleary and her head is fuzzy but she is determined to go into that exam fully prepared... as long as she doesn't pass out and sleep through it!

This sneaky scientist has mastered the ability to instantly teleport away whenever he hears the words "pop quiz". He'll often turn up in very unexpected places, such as random lockers, much to the chagrin of his fellow classmates.

This terrifyingly powerful student is an apprentice in name only as she has proven to rise above the rest of her classmates... literally. She uses a mysterious, mystical orb as an arcane focus to elevate her powers to an unsettling level. No one knows where she got the orb and although such things are technically not allowed during exams, the proctors are too afraid to attempt to confiscate it.

There seems to be one in every study group. They try hard and they mean well but when the time comes to submit the group's final project, they tend to drop the ball... er, cauldron.
