What To Do
Preparation to enter the area
Key item: Fort Rox Portal Projector
To enter the new area, hunters must use Fort Rox Portal Projector.
The projector can be bought from the Fort Rox - General Store using the following items:
Both items can be obtained randomly from opening Fort Rox Treasure Chest
or Rare Fort Rox Treasure Chest
.
The dusted chest will have more chance of dropping it.
Each chest can only contain one of the Portal items.
Alternatively, you can buy the Fort Rox Portal Core
and Fort Rox Portal Console
from the marketplace or trading with other players using the gifting feature.
The cheese to catch the boss: Sunrise Cheese
Make sure you have as many Sunrise Cheese as possible. 10-20 cheese might be a good number.
You can get the cheese from the Fort Rox - Cheese Shoppe.

Alternatively, you can buy the Sunrise Cheese from the marketplace or trading with other players using the gifting feature.
Entering the area
The Fort Rox Portal Projector can only be activated at Fort Rox during Dawn and used once as it is destroyed once you enter this place. It will become Ruined Portal Projector
.
Therefore, once you exit the area, you will have to remake the Fort Rox Portal Projector to re-enter.
Hunting the NEW boss
The new Lavos-like mouse is the boss of this area.
Heart Of The Meteor Mouse
can only be attracted and caught using Sunrise Cheese
It works similarly to King Grub Mouse
. The more you attract it, the weaker it is.
This is as mentioned in the description of the mouse:
Each time you encounter this mouse, her strength will decrease. After nine encounters, she will be entirely drained of strength. Retreating from the portal at this point will allow this mouse to regain her strength, so make sure you're well prepared! When caught, the power of the portal will fade and you will find yourself transported back into the Dawn, as if no time had passed at all.

Finish the new Fort Rox Treasure Map
to get the Fort Rox Treasure Chest, or if you apply the Rare Map Dust
, you will get Rare Fort Rox Treasure Chest instead. Opening the treasure chese will have the chance to drop the materials to buy the key item from Fort Rox - General Store to enter the new area. Read the "Key Items" section above for details of this.
