Taking a cue from the Thistle Mouse, the Bark Mouse has developed personal protection by strapping pieces of bark to his body with soft, strong vines. However, he's gone one step further, and fashioned a sharp, saw-toothed sword with which he practices daily.

Quiet and stealthy hunters have managed to catch him slicing dozens of fruits in half in mid-air. Rumour has it that he holds the high score for this particular activity among all his friends.

The Camoflower Mouse has found and created an incredible selection of flowers to wear as a disguise - when spooked, she can fold down and look like nothing more than an unassuming collection of flowers and leaves.

Instead of using home-made camouflage to avoid predators, the Camofusion Mouse has absorbed and grown her own camouflage to better attract and entrap her targets. Scarier still, the multitude of tendrils growing on her back are sensitive to movement and sound, allowing her to track down her prey with ease.

Tales are still told of the sickness that ran through Muridae: First, victims would break out in feverish sweats, then they'd develop spots all over their body, and then finally collapse comatose. This illness spread like wildfire and it seemed nothing could be done, until finally Carmine arrived with faintly-glowing poultices and potions and miraculously cured everyone in a single day.

Since then, she's been the town's famed and well-loved apothecary, able to cure diseases that don't even have names yet. How she does it is anyone's guess, but the townsfolk adore her and anyone asking too many questions is quickly... dissuaded.

Constantly seeking liquid, never able to get quite enough, the Dehydrated Mouse can only be lured out of hiding if sufficient moisture soaks the nearby area. But until he can find such a paradise, he is doomed to wander, lonely and dry.

You might not think the power to sprout mushrooms on command would be very impressive, but you'd be very wrong, because with that power comes the ability to shoot acidic spores in a cloud with a wide radius.
