Athena in Parthenon
A part of the statue of Athena that once stood in the Parthenon Temple. Said to have been a wooden statue over ten metres tall covered in ivory for skin, lavishly dressed in clothes and accessories of gold. When the Ottomans invaded, it was thought to have been taken apart and sold.
