Batalha Monastery
Details
Officialy known as the 'Monastery of Saint Mary of the Victory'. It has the name Batalha as it was built in commemoration of the victory against the Castilians. Construction lasted for centuries, during which various popular architectural styles throughout Europe was incorporated.
