Burrowing Owl
An owl with an unusual underground nest. It mainly makes its own nest using a hole burrowed into the ground by other animals. It runs like a chicken with its long legs, and is active during the day, and has many other characteristics not seen in other owls. It is found throughout the grasslands of the New World in South and North America.
