Carta Marina
The first map of the Nordic countries to give details and place names created by Swedish ecclesiastic Olaus Magnus in the 16th century. Some rare animals and monsters are also drawn on it as well. It seems that it was created based on books of all ages and countries and stories randomly heard from seafarers.
