Chinese Mantis
A large praying mantis found in East Asia. It is aggressive and carnivorous, and sometimes cannibalistic. The females lay a foam-like egg case on the branches of plants. Nearly 200 larvae hatch from it, but it's said that only a handful can successfully survive into adulthood.
