Chinese Sturgeon
A type of sturgeon that has inhabited various places throughout China since ancient times. Many can be seen in the Yangtze River, and during spawning season, they can even be found upstream in the Jinsha River. According to the 'Compendium of Materia Medica' they are very nourishing, but it is rare for someone to catch them, and their population is unclear.
