Fort of the Berlengas
A fort located on the island of Berlenga Grande, north of Lisbon. It's also known as the 'Fort of Sao Joao Baptista'. It was constructed from the remains of a pre-existing monastery, and was subject to repeated attacks from the Barbary pirates.
