Golden Horn Chain
A thick chain laid by the Byzantine Empire to hinder the advancement of the Ottoman military ships in the Constantinople wars. The Ottoman army was unable to break these chains. But they dealt the Byzantine Empire a heavy blow by carrying their ships overland in a surprise attack.
