Jebel Barkal
A small sandstone mountain in northeast Africa. It means 'sacred mountain' in Arabic. The ruins at the feet of the mountain was Napata, the capital city of the Egyptian 25th Dynasty. As such, there are many temples and shrines with Egyptian influence.
