King Muryeong's Stone Monument
A stele that documents the demise of King Muryeong of Baekje. Baekje was declining because of Goguryeo's invasions. King Muryeong, also known as 'Great General Tranquilizing the East', successfully repelled attacks by Goguryeo, and turned Baekje into a great power by allying with the Liang dynasty in China.
