Lunar Surface
Aristotle believed the moon is a sphere. Galileo proved the moon surface is not smooth through observations using telescopes. In reality, the lunar landscape is characterized by impact craters, their ejecta, a few volcanoes, hills, lava flows and depressions filled by magma.
