Notes of a Secretary from the Byzantine Empire
Notes left by a secretary of the Byzantine Empire. The author appears to have died in battle during the Fall of Constantinople along with Constantine XI Palaiologos. The note contains the words of the Emperor when he revealed his intention to go against Mehmed II of the Ottoman Empire.
