Pekingese
A breed of small dogs. For many years it has been favoured as a lap dog or companion dog within the royal courts of China. It's yellow hair in particular is highly valued. Although it is said that those who take them outside of the royal court will be sentenced to death, other kinds of small dogs can be found in markets and some people secretly keep them as pets.
