Peloponnese
A peninsula located in the southernmost part of Greece. It is connected with the mainland Greece by the narrow land bridge called the Isthmus of Corinth. It has a mountainous interior and deeply indented coasts. It has many ruins, indicating that it's been a prosperous area since ancient times.
