Saint Catherine's Monastery

A monastery located at the bottom of Mount Sinai. It was built during the early years of the Byzantine Empire and is famous for having ancient manuscripts and icons that are dated prior to iconoclasm. It has been treated as an important place for pilgrimage ever since crusaders began staying there.
