Stele of Naram-sin
The stele of Naram-sin, King of Akkad. The Akkad kingdom was located in the northern regions of the southern Mesopotamian land of Babylonia. Naram-sin conquered the surrounding areas, increasing the size of his empire. He later proclaimed himself a god.
