Sulu Archipelago
Islands on the northeast coast of Borneo. This primarily Islamic kingdom was established in ancient times and gradually spread it's influence over the nearby islands. Because the Spanish have begun using Manila as a base in recent years, this kingdom has been encouraging pirates in order to resist being overwhelmed.
