Sunspot
Temporary phenomena on the photosphere of the Sun that appear visibly as dark spots compared to its surrounding regions. A telescope can project the image onto a white screen where it can be viewed indirectly. In East Asia, there were legends that some crows live on the Sun, most likely due to how the sunspot was observed in ancient times.
