Tadrart Acacus Rock Paintings
Paintings on walls, thought to be from prehistory. There are depictions of people riding horses, and giraffes, elephants, and camels, so it could be inferred that they show the appearance of the area at that time. 'Tadrart' means 'Mountains' in the local language.
