The Canis Major
It is said to be the figure of the hunting dog, Laelaps, which was destined to catch any prey, and was later sent to the sky. Chasing after a fox that had the destiny of never being caught, Laelaps, was later transformed into stone by Zeus and was sent to the heavens.
