The Emerald Buddha
Details
A Buddhist sculpture made of jade. It is said to come from a pagoda that was damaged by lightning, but the truth of that is uncertain. It is made entirely of jade, but the way it glitters makes it look like it was made of emeralds. That is why it has come to be called the Emerald Buddha.
