The Immaculate Conception of El Escorial
An oil painting on the theme of the Immaculate Conception, created by the Spanish artist Murillo. He produced many works on this same theme, with the beautiful Virgin Mary and the white and blue robe she wears as common features. His fantastic style had a great influence on later art.
