The Necklace of La Malinche
La Malinche is the Aztec woman that became Cortes' wife. She was fluent in the Nahuatl and Mayan languages and served as Cortes' interpreter. This has a Western design and is also thought to have been a necklace that was brought by Cortes as a gift.
