The Prince
A political philosophy book written by Florentine diplomat, Niccolo Machiavelli. It was written from a perspective of realism and excluded mortality and religion, arguing that rulers must be cruel. The book was banned as it was seen as a dangerous book of conspiracies, but became the origin for realism political philosophy.
