The Shoulder Bag of Chasqui
Chasquis were those with the responsibility of distributing information to remote regions. The information was carried on a rope called a Quipu which is unique to the Incan people, and by word of mouth. Chasquis are said to have been able to run 200 km in a single day. They had unusually strong legs.
