The Small Magellanic Cloud
A dwarf galaxy near the Milky Way. It is classified as a dwarf irregular galaxy. It is slightly darker than that of the Large Magellanic Cloud. It can be seen directly with the naked eyes. As it is closer to the South celestial pole, it could only be seen from a low-altitude in the Northern Hemisphere.
