Details
The ruins of the Mycenaean civilization, located in the east of the Peloponnese Peninsula. Huge stones have been stacked up to make the massive wall surrounding the ruins, so it is said that the one-eyed giant in Greek mythology, Cyclops, stacked them. The site is also believed to be the legendary hero Hercules' birthplace.
