Tonkori
A five-string plucked instrument played by the Sakhalin Ainu which are located in the Far East of Russia, and the northern parts of Japan. It has a flat shape with a smaller end. According to the customs of Sakhalin Ainu, each part of the instrument is supposed to be modeled after the various parts of the human body.
