Ursa Major

After being favoured by Zeus and angering the Goddess Hera, Callisto was changed into a large bear by Hera. Callisto was later sent to the heavens by Zeus and became a constellation. It is also mentioned in the myths of the Indigenous people of North America that it is of a bear who was later sent to the heavens.
