Gnawnian folklore is filled with tales of a sinister and flamboyant witch who lives deep in the woods North of the Toxic Spill. Some tales tell of the mortar and pestle that she uses to soar through the night skies while others describe her hypnotic singing voice that can be heard for miles. Some legends depict her brewing foul potions in a straw-thatched hut that sits atop giant chicken legs while others focus on her strange and exotic clothing that could only come from another world.

But one thing that every tale had in common was that Baba Gaga was nothing more than a myth... until now!

Once, the three tribes, Nerg, Derr and Elub, were one, united under a ruler so cruel and merciless that the tribes-mice lived in constant fear of his whims. The Elders formulated a plan to banish Balack’s spirit to a remote cove near the Jungle of Dread, but he had other plans. He allowed the Elders to banish him, but he corrupted their enchantment along the way, pulling his attackers into the cove with him to be his servants for the rest of eternity.

Hailing from the high mountain passes, and the shadows along the roadside, these mice were chosen for the King’s Gauntlet because they are well-versed in the art of the ambush. They make their living by profiting off the misfortunes of others, especially when those misfortunes are caused by their trusty dagger. Bandits are opportunists by nature, and as such they never pass by an opportunity to gain some free cheese. After all, even if they don’t need it, someone else might pay a hefty price for it.

Taking a cue from the Thistle Mouse, the Bark Mouse has developed personal protection by strapping pieces of bark to his body with soft, strong vines. However, he's gone one step further, and fashioned a sharp, saw-toothed sword with which he practices daily.

Quiet and stealthy hunters have managed to catch him slicing dozens of fruits in half in mid-air. Rumour has it that he holds the high score for this particular activity among all his friends.

By harnessing the power of Garden Essences, the Barkshell mouse has been able to merge with and grow a strong outer layer of bark, protecting him from both the elements and anyone who would want to cause trouble.

Wild-eyed and along for the ride! She's not much for this whole piracy business, but being able to earn her keep by firing cannons all day is a dream come true for this lover of fire and explosions!

Scouring the deep for the most beautiful of Barnacles, this beautician loves the look and feel of freshly-formed Barnacle shells, moulding and shaping them into fine jewelry and accessories. Always on the lookout, her eyes just light up whenever she spots a particularly pretty bunch or a new candidate to become part of her latest fashions.

This impressive but intimidating noblewoman needs no introduction when she enters the Great Hall because, for better or worse, her reputation precedes her. She is a crafty, confident, and callous cutthroat who will stop at nothing to achieve her ultimate goal of controlling all of the beans in the Kingdom!

No one in the Ballroom can take their eyes off of this well-dressed aristocrat who is brimming with grandeur, flamboyance, and exuberant details... and that's just their wardrobe! The real talk of the Ballroom is the unique and unusual dance style that they've brought to the party. It involves many strange and captivating moves such as TopRococo, Snapping and Latching, and their signature move: the Cranium Oscillation.

Rumour has it that this bizarre, modern dance style was learned on "the streets" although that claim seems dubious considering the lack of roadways at this altitude.

The lone wolf of the ocean. Once fully-grown, the Barracuda Mouse separates himself from the pack, fearless and strong enough to sustain himself on his own.

Be wary if you see them in pairs or more: They will hunt in packs when they plan on taking out bigger quarry.
