These mutated mice began to litter the landscape when the insect population ate crumbs of Radioactive Blue cheese left behind by hunters. Frog mice use their quick reflexes and even quicker tongue to snatch the bait from traps. Their strange ability to re-grow their tongue proves particularly handy when swiping bait from the Swiss Army Mouse Trap.

This once warm and cheery fellow has always enjoyed the festive season... perhaps a little too much. As a youngster, he would look forward to the holidays all year long but when they finally arrived, all he could think of was how soon they would be gone again. Over time, the warmth that he once felt for this magical season was replaced by an icy cold sliver in his heart that grew and grew until it eventually consumed him, transforming him completely from head to toe.

Driven mad by obsession, he became convinced that he could capture the magic of the holidays and keep it forever simply by freezing the festive season in place. And so he set to work on a plan to usher in an infinite winter to the Kingdom of Gnawnia.

By harnessing the power of his Magical Holiday Scarf, the self-proclaimed Frost King conjured a fortress made of Reinforced Ice and constructed the nefarious Frost Globes that would allow him to turn this luscious landscape into a frozen prison from which the festive season could never escape!

Sharp as the biting wind on a January morning, the Frostbite mouse embodies the cold of a deep, northern winter. Frost feeds its powers, allowing it to use the magic of Zugzwang's garden to become stronger and sharper than ever before. At the peak of its power, the Frostbite mouse's claws become as hard as diamonds, and freeze their victims on contact. Don't expect any fear from a Frostbite mouse, either-- their disposition is as unyielding as a glacier.

Many mice aspire to the position, but only the brightest, the brawniest, the very best mice are promoted to the rank of Frostlance Guard. These mice protect Icewing's inner sanctum and Icewing herself, and command fear and respect from every other mouse in Icewing's Army.

Note: This mouse can only be encountered when in Icewing's Lair (only after 425 hunts beyond a hunter's first defeat of an Iceberg Invasion) or the Hidden Depths.

Affectionately (and secretly) referred to as "Bluehair", the Frostwing Commander leads the Iceberg airborne division. Well-aware of the fact that there currently are no mice in that division, Icewing has placed him as second-in-command of the Iceberg, taking control of things should she be required elsewhere.

Little is known of his origin, or how he came to wield the mystical Tiger's Claw staff, but some say that he lives only for vengeance, having been excluded from the Heart of the Tiger event long ago.

The mouse on top of this little arrangement is the architect of a rather ingenious pyramid scheme. You see, he managed to convince the other two that if they agreed to roll themselves into the bigger snowballs at the bottom of the snowman, they would receive a commission of cheese in a matter of four to six weeks. Of course, there wasn't really any cheese. . . only a carrot, and there's only room for one carrot on a snowman.

This mouse thought that its lucky day had finally come around when it saw a giant wedge of cheese floating on the surface of a freezing lake, but unfortunately, that's where the Frozen Mouse's luck ended. Because it's surrounded in a shield of solid ice, the other mice give it all the dirtiest jobs to do. The Frozen Mouse's latest job is to sit on traps and catch the mechanisms as they spring, which makes it wish for the season of spring all the more.

The heart of the raider cause! This mouse champions for fuel and makes it his mission to gather as much of it as he can. Even those mousy automatons need fuel to operate!

Though he collects a lot of it, he gives away most of his Fuel Nuggets to the other raiding mice, so he rarely has any on him when caught.

Resting high above Moussu Picchu among the clouds, Ful'Mina is the true queen of the mountain and ruler over the skies and storms. As the Moussu Picchu Inhabitants below battle endlessly for dominance of the weather, the resulting stalemate allows the queen to slumber for generations.

Once, long ago, she would appear high above the land anywhere a lightning cloud hovered, visiting the many realms of mice across Gnawnia, her tail smacking the ground like lightning as she plucked treasures with it to add to her hoard. Now, countless decades pass in between sightings of the Mountain Queen, so much so that her very existence has gone from folklore, to legend, to mere myth...

But now, MouseHunters from the Kingdom of Gnawnia have found their way through the mountain pass, and their presence has brought a shift to the power struggle in these ruins, as they always do. Hunters have begun to harness the powers of both the Wind Wanderer and Rain Roamer tribes of mice in the area, ironically bringing unity between the two after endless centuries of feuding.

As the winds grow stronger, the rains fall heavier, and the storms begin to mix and clash, great bone-shaking growls can be heard from above the thickest of clouds, where the queen is said to reside. Is this thunder? Or is it the great Mountain Queen being rudely awakened from her slumber? Slowly but surely, disturbed by the intensifying battle in the lands below and the low rumble of impending thunderstorms in the clouds upon which she rests, she begins to rouse from her deep sleep...

Soon, and without warning, Ful'Mina, the Mountain Queen, will descend upon the lands with great fury to bring order to the chaos through the destructive force of her indomitable lightning storms.

Happily hopping around the stagnant waters of the Whisker Woods Rift, this amphibious mouse has a natural defense of poisonous fungus that grows along its slimy exterior.

Definitely one mouse that's hard to hold on to! Although I don't know why you would want to in the first place...
